Encore: Resistance Revival Chorus joins host Raina Douris

To many, the word “Resistance” might mean marching, protesting, or shouting – But for the Resistance Revival Chorus, it means singing. The 60-plus member group, made up of women and non-binary people from all backgrounds, has been performing uplifting and empowering music since 2017. On an encore edition of the World Cafe, we’ll learn how the chorus originated and hear music from their debut album, called This Joy, featuring classic protest songs as well as originals.
