Encore: The B-52’s join host Michaela Majoun

In 1976, the members of The B-52’s shared a cocktail called “the flaming volcano” before jamming together for the first time – It was a fitting start for a band that would become famous for their flamboyant style and quirky songs, like “Rock Lobster” and “Love Shack.” Now, after entertaining audiences for over 40 years, The B-52’s are making stops across the country on their farewell tour. Coming up, World Cafe celebrates the band with a look back at their last visit in 2008 – Hear The B-52’s talk about their early days and perform some of their most beloved songs, live.
