Washed Out joins host Stephen Kallao

Ernest Green, who performs as Washed Out, says his latest album was inspired by his move back to the Georgia countryside. Notes From A Quiet Life reflects that tranquil nature, and Green’s perspective on making music. He’s in no rush to crank out singles, opting for a slower pace and the fully realized project borne from that intention. On the World Cafe, Washed Out talks about crafting his latest album, plus a performance live from World Cafe’s studio.
