Turnpike Troubadours joins host Stephen Kallao

After a three-year hiatus, the country band Turnpike Troubadours returned to the studio to make their latest album, A Cat in the Rain. Recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and produced by Shooter Jennings, A Cat in The Rain is filled with lyrics that can make your heart skip a beat. Frontman Evan Felker joins me to talk about why he needed to take a step back, recording at the legendary studio, and why editing is often his favorite part of songwriting.

Listen to the session here.
