Phoenix joins host Raina Douris

Usually, a museum is where you go to SEE art, but Phoenix went to the Louvre to MAKE it. The French band were artists-in-residence at the Paris museum, allowing them to stay overnight, access rooms that ordinary visitors can’t – And gather inspiration for their next album along the way. It’s called Alpha Zulu, and coming up, frontman Thomas Mars and guitarist Christian Mazzalai talk about the new music and offer a glimpse of what the Louvre is like at night. Plus, Phoenix performs songs from the new record, along with some old favorites, like their big breakout hit from 2009.
