Jade Bird joins host Stephen Kallao

Jade Bird spent time in Japan and Mexico to write her new album, Different Kinds of Light – And then travelled to Nashville to record it, with coveted producer Dave Cobb at RCA Studio B. It’s the British singer-songwriter’s second full-length record, and it really showcases her as a lyricist – exploring what it’s like to fall in love. On the next World Cafe, Bird shares stories behind the new music, as well as what she’s picked up from sharing the stage with performers like Jason Isbell, Father John Misty, and Brandi Carlile.
