The Killers join host Stephen Kallao

The Killers’ latest record, Pressure Machine, is an unexpected account of Nephi Utah – the hometown of band leader, Brandon Flowers. He left home for Las Vegas decades ago, but recently, every flash of songwriting inspiration brought him back to Nephi – The resulting album is a set of stories about this small community with its modern-day problems. It’s unlike any of The Killers’ previous records, as we’ll hear in a live performance on the World Cafe. Plus, Brandon talks about their new songwriting approach and his admiration for Bruce Springsteen.
