Lukas Nelson joins host Stephen Kallao

A lifetime of travelling around the country informed Lukas Nelson’s new album, his first without longtime band Promise of the Real. Inspired by John Steinbeck’s “Travels with Charlie”, Nelson’s new album American Romance was produced by Shooter Jennings, and catalogs a life lived on the road. Lukas Nelson joins World Cafe to talk about American Romance and he’ll perform solo acoustic in studio.
