Saint Etienne joins host Stephen Kallao

The hardest part of being in a band is keeping it together. For over 30 years, Saint Etienne has aced this test. Sarah Cracknell joined Pete Wiggs and Bob Stanley on their 3rd ever single, and the lineup has remained unchanged, even as the musical ground they tread has evolved. Their latest studio album, International, is their last. Coming up, Bob, Pete, and Sarah join World Cafe to talk about why now was the right time to stop making albums, and why they’ve never had to deal with drama.
