Host Raina Douris visits Forum Studios in Rome

In 1969 Ennio Morricone started a recording studio with three of his fellow Italian composers, carefully choosing instruments that would soon become part of the most memorable film soundtracks. On the World Cafe, you get to go inside that studio where those same beloved instruments are still used today. Hear the story of the music that was created there in the past, and how that legacy has carried through the decades from the man who grew up watching Morricone work and now heads Rome’s Forum Studios.

Listen to the session here.
