Shungudzo joins host Raina Douris

Shungudzo’s story could be a movie…The U.S. born singer-songwriter spent her early years in Zimbabwe, where she became the country’s first Black woman gymnast at the All-Africa Games. After moving back to the States and attending Stanford, she went on to become an unlikely reality TV star. And through all of this – she was writing music. Shungudzo joins host Raina Douris on the next World Cafe to share about her life experiences and about her debut album, I’m Not A Mother, But I Have Children.
