Friday — Jimmy Eat World at Skyline Stage at Highmark Mann
Jimmy Eat World’s breakout album Bleed American is old enough to drink alcohol now, so the long-running Arizona group is touring to celebrate the milestone. They’ll be playing the record in its entirety at the Mann, with support from post-hardcore favorites Thrice and emo rockers Hey Mercedes.

Saturday — Clark Park Music & Arts Festival
West Philly’s Clark Park will see WXPN favorites Moustapha Noumbisi, Joshua Chase Miller, Erin Fox, Kuf Knotz & Christine Elise, and other playing the annual event. Monday — Del Amitri at Underground Arts
“Roll to Me” by Scotland alt rock band Del Amitri became synonymous with ’90s music. But the band’s history goes way back to the 1980s, and they’re still out here gigging. They’ll make a stop on their short US run in Philly with local darlings The Tisburys.

Tuesday — Black Country, New Road at Franklin Music Hall
Black Country, New Road’s first North American tour was in 2022, and they played Johnny Brenda’s here in Philly. Now, they’re back stateside and playing at Franklin Music Hall with Horsegirl. Listen to Black Country, New Road’s World Cafe interview here, and watch Horsegirl perform “Overcoats” live at Free At Noon here.

Wednesday — SG Goodman at West Art
Folk singer-songwriter SG Goodman is heading to Lancaster for a show with alt-country band Case Oats in the middle of the week. She stopped by WXPN in late 2025 to play Free At Noon. You can listen to her performance here. Her latest album, Planting By the Signs, was on World Cafe host Stephen Kallao’s to 10 albums of 2025, too.

Thursday — Sound of History at Awbury Arboretum
Local musicians and past Black Music City grantees Laurin Talese and Zeek Burse spent months embedded at the Museum of the American Revolution for Art Philly‘s Sound of History project that’s part of What Now: 2026. The two each composed musical pieces based on what they learned through during their time at the museum. They will perform their pieces live at Awbury Arboretum at no charge after doing the same on Juneteenth at Free At Noon here at WXPN and at the museum.
