Premiere: Stream W.C. Lindsay’s new Tree EP

According to W.C. Lindsay‘s bio, Keith Richards came to the Drexel student in a dream and told him to start an electro / dance punk project.  An odd request from the Rolling Stones guitarist but with Lindsay’s knack for powerful vocals and intensely-fun hooks, Richards seems to have picked the right guy for the job.

Now signed to new Philly-based charity label Big Footprints Project, Lindsay is releasing a four-track EP called Tree in advance of his upcoming debut full-length (expected this fall).  The collaboration allows everyone involved to give back to the community – $1 from every digital and physical sale of the EP will benefit the McMichael Morton School in West Philadelphia where Lindsay volunteers as a tutor and friend for the elementary school kids.

Showcasing all sides of Lindsay’s talent, the Tree EP features a studio and acoustic version of both the summer anthem “Into the Night” and the title track (which was originally included on Big Footprints BIG Compilation in April).  Stream the EP via Big Footprints’ Soundcloud below and get ready to dance at MilkBoy Philly when W.C.
