Nick Steinborn, guitar and keyboard player for The Wonder Years, recently announced the release of his new solo EP This Is’t Very Good under the name Why Bother?. The five song EP will be released November 12th via Get This Right Records, and was produced entirely by Steinborn.

He just debuted the first single from the EP, “This Isn’t Very Good,” which you can listen to via Absolute Punk. Following suit with the grunge rock trend that has been stirring around Philly with bands like Daylight and Balance and Composure, Why Bother?’s first single has trudging bass lines and a little bit of fuzz. You can give a listen to the first single here, and preorder the EP here.
