Philly’s Ali Wadsworth dropped by WXPN studios last night to chat with Dan Reed for the Like A Version segment and perform a solo acoustic cover of Big Star’s classic, “Thirteen.” As Ali noted on social media, it was her first time performing guitar and singing in public, but she pulls it off nicely, putting her own Wadsworthian spin on the songs by building each verse in energy until we hear her signature soulful belt by the conclusion.
