Dogs on Acid have quickly become one of the most popular names in the local scene, and there’s good reason for that. They manage to combine the most beloved aspects of 90s style emo and garage rock in a neat, and insistently likable package, and with a lineup boasting members of Hop Along, Snowing, and Algernon Cadwallader, it should really be no surprise they’ve taken off. But Dogs are doing something different than the acts that they have been associated with – and it is definitely not a bad thing.

Their record is slated for an August 28th release via Jade tree records, but in the meantime their song “The Prick” off their upcoming self-titled debut is streaming over at SPIN.
