1963 – Sixteen-year-old Lesley Gore records her breakthrough #1 hit, “It’s My Party.”

1967 – The photo session for Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band takes place at Chelsea Manor studios in London with Michael Cooper. After the shoot, The Beatles resume work at Abbey Road studios on “With a Little Help From My Friends,” adding guitars, bass, tambourine, and backing vocals. The session begins at 11:00 pm and ends at 7:30 am.
