1999 – Here, There, and Everywhere: A Concert for Linda is held at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The tribute to Paul McCartney’s late wife is organized by two of their friends, Chrissie Hynde and Carla Lane. This night marks Paul’s first performance since her passing. The Pretenders, George Michael, Elvis Costello, Tom Jones, Sinead O’Connor, Johnny Marr, Neil Finn, Marianne Faithfull, and Ladysmith Black Mambazo also perform the show, which is hosted by comedian Eddie Izzard.

2013 – Kate Bush receives her CBE for services to music from the Queen at an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, England.
