Joshua Bation produces soulful edginess in track, “I’m Leaving”

New local artist Joshua Bation‘s got a voice on him, this one. And it’s featured beautifully in his recent song, “I’m Leaving.” Though the song serves as one of his first releases, this masterfully produced track doesn’t show it one bit.

Reminiscent of The Weeknd, the song mixes darker, moody vibes with minimalist beats that build into a powerful electro slow jam. Whether mixed with an edgy fuzz or left alone to reach sultry falsettos, Bation’s smooth, R&B vocals flow flawlessly through the track.
