Leading the way on a handful of new releases today is a band rooted in Philadelphia, Secret American. After sharing a series of singles earlier this year the band unveils Heavy Feels, a well-crafted, groove-laden and ear-pleasing collection of songs. A remarkable double-live album arrives from blues legend John Lee Hooker. Two performances both recorded at the Montreux Jazz Festival (one in 1983, the other in 1990) are paired on this new release, Live At Montreux 1983 & 1990. Grammy nominated singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Madison Cunningham has a new EP called Wednesday out now. It’s a covers set that includes interpretations of songs by Radiohead, John Mayer, and more. Also this week, new albums from the English folk rock band Tunng and an all-Philly tribute to Rilo Kiley (bandcamp-only) featuring Eric Slick, Sad 13, Gladie & more! #PressPlay & enjoy!
