Philly-born space rockers The War on Drugs are readying the release of their fifth album I Don’t Live Here Anymore, and last night they were virtual musical guests on the season premiere of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, playing live together for the first time in two years.

In the video, the band performs “Living Proof,” the slow-burn ballad that serves as the album’s lead single, at Boulevard Recording Studio in Los Angeles. It sounds delicate and gorgeous, and as the song builds, we see Adam Granduciel, Robbie Bennett, Charlie Hall, Dave Hartley, Anthony LaMarca, and Jon Natchez lose themselves in the proverbial zone.

Watch below, and preorder I Don’t Live Here Anymore here; the album releases October 29th on Atlantic Records, and the band plays back-to-back nights at The Met Philly on January 27th and 28th. Tickets and more information on those shows can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.
