November’s Artist To Watch is singer, songwriter, and pianist Neal Francis.
Neal Francis is based in Chicago, he’s releasing his sophomore album, In Plain Sight, on November 5th. Francis was a standout at this year’s virtual Non-COMM, when he performed with his band from Shirk Studios in Chicago. Check out a video of a song from the performance here.
Francis’s music draws on his love of New Orleans R&B and soul and classic rock, influences you can hear on the song “Can’t Stop The Rain” that we’re playing from the forthcoming album, featuring Derek Trucks on slide guitar.
