Angel Olsen returned to late night TV for another performance from her new record Big Time, this time performing the album’s slow burning opening track “All the Good Times” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The singer-songwriter is on tour with Sharon Van Etten and Julien Baker as part of the Wild Hearts tour; catch the full show live at The Mann Center tomorrow night.

Big Time strikes a new chord for Olsen, whose last record All Mirrors (2019) was a synth pop orchestra masterpiece. In Big Time, Olsen embraces country music, with acoustic guitar and flourishes of pedal steel, and colors the sound with serious melancholy informed by personal experiences of loss and grief. “All the Good Times” shows off both sides of the new record: the measured churning just below the surface and the bubbling over explosion of emotion. Olsen’s Fallon performance therefore serves as a perfect example of what fans are in for in these last dates on the Wild Hearts tour.

Tickets to Olsen’s show tomorrow at The Mann are still available. Buy yours at the link via our Concerts and Events page.
