Even if you think you know what it will be like when one of those things happens to you, you might be surprised at how they affect you. Leslie Feist, known better as simply Feist, experienced both of those life milestones in the span of just a few years. Her adopted daughter was born, and about two years later, her father passed away.
In this session, Feist joins World Cafe to talk about how those two experiences affected her songwriting and her new album, Multitudes — her first full-length album since 2017.
