Leif Vollebekk returns to the Free At Noon stage

On a cold January day, Leif Vollebekk‘s voice warmed up the World Cafe Live crowd. It was the Montreal singer-songwriter’s second performance at the Free At Noon concert series; like last time, he bounced between piano and guitar, but unlike his 2019 show, he played this one solo. Vollebekk showcased his 2024 album Revelation, released in September, with a set that found him beckoning the audience to sing and encouraging them to focus on self-care. (“Rest is as good as sleep” was a mantra he offered in his introduction to the song “Rest.”) See photos from the concert below.
