Where They’re From: Havana, Cuba

Who They Are: In the beginning September of 2021, many of us didn’t know about the band Cimafunk. Now we do. They absolutely blew people away during a Saturday afternoon set at the XPoNential Musc Festival that month, and they came back on Sunday for a blistering second set. The Afro Cuban funk band’s album El Alimento came out in October of 2021.
