Joining us in the studio for this Indie Rock Hit Parade session is a group whose leader has quickly become a regular presence on the show. Los Angeles-based Cherry Glazerr first joined us in 2019 for a roof-raising set at that year’s NonCommvention. Then, in early 2022, they convened for a rousing home-recorded performance while they finished recording their newest album. That album, the hard-hitting I Don’t Want You Anymore, was released last fall, and CG mastermind Clem Creevy joined me earlier this year to share some inspirational songs in a lively guest DJ visit. While in the midst of their spring tour, Creevy and the full band stopped by to perform new songs (and an old favorite) in the band’s first in-studio session at XPN.
